Candidates must be Indian citizens. For the Flying Branch, the age limit is 20 to 24 years and for Ground Duty Branches, it's 20 to 26 years.

Regularly read newspapers and current affairs magazines to stay updated. Practice previous years' question papers and take mock tests to build confidence and improve time management.

Candidates who qualify the written exam are called for the AFSB Interview, which assesses psychological aptitude and personality. The AFSB process spans over five days and includes psychological tests, group tasks, and personal interviews. Final selection is based on combined performance in the written exam and AFSB interview
